About the place
If you turn sideways from the Andriivskyi Descent near St. Andrew’s Church and the monument to Taras Shevchenko, you will get to the Painters Lane, which is a convenient way to get to St. Volodymyr Hill. If you take this way, I advise that you try and make picturesque photos from several sightseeing platforms, and at the end of the lane from the incredible beauty of the Royal Summerhouse of philanthropist Kokorev.
Walking along the lane, you can admire the cars and spans of the funicular, the views of the Dnieper, its bridges, Podil, Poshtova Ploshcha (Postal Square) and the Left Bank.
