This is probably the best point for admiring the city panorama in the centre of Kyiv. Since ancient times, there have been legends about the incredible panoramas opening up from this place. It is said that from the sightseeing platform at St. Andrew’s Church in good weather you can even see Chernihiv’s outline. To find a location for viewing, you need to go around the temple from the back side along the balustrade. From here, you can enjoy an incomparable view of the atmospheric historical Podil and the water surface of the Dnieper. Here, you can make great photos of Kyiv.
If you are lucky enough to get to the ArtHall D12 gallery, which is located at the beginning of Andriivskyi Descent, then from its terrace on the upper floor you can see St. Andrew’s Church, Andriivskyi Descent, Podil and the Dnieper from an unusual perspective.
