A small, unremarkable 19th-century building that houses the Ministry of Health’s Outpatient Emergency Medical Advice Station is a unique building with a unique service. These people, emergency medicine doctors, are the first to find themselves in the zone of environmental disaster or man-made disaster.
By their actions, doctors try to reduce the risks of the spread of epidemics and diseases (for example, the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic), to protect the lives and health of victims of various natural or man-made disasters, and most importantly, to ensure that the identified threats are eliminated as soon as possible and are not going to recur.
