In gloomy weather, this amazing place looks almost mystical because of the old abandoned cemetery and ancient crypt. The hill offers an incredible panorama of all of Kyiv, the Dnieper, St. Andrew’s Church, Andriivskyi Descent, the Castle of Richard the Lionsheart, Podil, Shchekavytsia Hill and the Honchari-Kozhumiaky tract with its colourful houses. The uniqueness of the hill is that there are many viewpoints from which all those wonderful panoramas can be seen. The entire hill is like one large sightseeing platform. You can climb it using the metal stairs on Andriivskyi Descent, which start near the monument to Gogol.
Despite the fact that the height of the hill above the level of the Dnieper reaches 80 meters, hundreds of people come here every day to enjoy the panorama that opens up and take beautiful photos against the background of the old city.
