The shop in the basement at 3 Lypynskoho Street was opened in 2013. It became the debut offline shop of the first charity project Laska in Kyiv. The founders collect unwanted clothes from the townspeople in the shop and sort them: 80% are donated to charity, 17% are resold, and 2–3% are recycled or sent to the organisation Ukraine Without Garbage for incineration. In total, Laska cooperates with 14 charitable foundations and social projects.
There is a functioning bar in the shop. You can also buy new things from Ukrainian designers there. The organisers of the project popularise awareness of things and minimalism, so in their institutions, they regularly hold lectures, film screenings, and master classes dedicated to reducing the negative impact on the environment.
