About the place
This is the largest concert and art institution in Ukraine, which was opened in 1970. The concert hall can accommodate more than 3,700 spectators, and up to 1,500 artists can be on the main stage at the same time. The building has the shape of a trapezoid and includes more than 300 rooms of different sizes and purposes. In 1996, the palace was included in the list of architectural monuments of Ukraine. In 2021, the small hall of the National Palace was transformed into a technological, modern and comfortable show hall TEATROOM with 206 seats, where ‘own production’ shows take place.
In addition to the performances of national and world-class stars, national and international public and political events took place on the stage of Ukraina Palace: the celebration of the 1500th anniversary of Kyiv, inaugurations of the presidents of Ukraine, celebrations of the Independence Days of Ukraine, and other important events.
