Ar-Rahma is the first mosque in Kyiv opened in 2011 on the Shchekavytsia Hill next to the Muslim cemetery. The name of the Mosque means mercy. It is part of the Islamic complex, which also includes a building of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine, a madrasah, and a 27-meter-high minaret.
In the Mosque, Friday prayers and festive services are regularly held on the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha days. The entrance is free for everyone, with the possibility of holding free tours and delivering lectures on Islam.
