About the place
There is a helicopter pad in the park, which was build in breach of environmental standards. Later, that facility was recognised as environmentally harmful and even illegal. However, this structure was left as a legacy to the city’s ecosystem... And although the Parkovyi congress and exhibition centre (the current name of the place) became state-owned property, it still remains a symbol of ill-conceived environmental decisions that significantly affect the quality of the environment of green areas in the capital.
