The history of Bulvarno-Kudriavska Street connecting the Lvivska and Peremohy Squares dates back the 1930s. During its existence, it changed several names: it was Shevchenkivska, Neronovycha, and Vorovskoho. The historical place name was returned only in 2014. The Street was developed most intensively at the turn of the 19th and the 20th centuries. Since then, the former Kyiv Art School and the State Treasury Chamber, Vasyl Serbulov’s Mansion, the building of Kyiv’s Prosvita, the Women’s Trade School, the building of the Vocational School, the Baron’s Castle, the Polygraphist factory (the oldest publishing and printing enterprise in Kyiv) and over a dozen revenue houses, which are valuable examples of contemporary architecture, have survived.
