The building of the former Vocational School is situated in the depths of Bulvarno-Kudriavska Street and has lots of unique architectural and historical features. Despite the sign on the building reading “Historical Monument — Art School — 1901–1902”, it was in fact the Vocational School built in 1879. Until 1917, the building was owned by the Rohalskyi family. In 1910–1911, there was the Mariavite prayer house. In Soviet times, the premises were turned into a dormitory, and were later rebuilt into communal apartments. They are preserved until now and are supplemented by art studios.
From different sides, the building has different storeys, ranging from two to four. Chaos in architecture is added by windows of different shapes and styles, balconies and vertical extensions.
