About the place
The Park was laid out in 1970 on the basis of the existing pine forest in Darnytsia district. Its territory is divided into 7 functional areas: spectacular, cultural and educational events, exhibition and thematic, sports, children’s recreation, quiet recreation, economic, and memorial ones. The latter is the centre of the Park, it used to be a place for meetings and solemn events.
Since 1994, the Park of Partisan Glory has had the nature protection status. In 2020, the highest illuminated pedestrian fountain in Ukraine was opened at the entrance.
