We are sure that this 70-year-old steam train ГР-336 marked the first career step of many railway workers. It was manufactured in Germany and transferred to Kyiv as reparations. Since 1953, the locomotive has been pulling the line of wagons of Kyiv Children’s Railway in Syretskyi Park. Here, teenagers and children discover the secrets of the world of trains and are offered the opportunity to feel like real railway workers: they operate a train, serve passengers, etc.
Having a ride on this railway means a unique experience because of its cool staff and awesome views. The train runs around the picturesque Syretskyi Park; a separate section of the route passes through a 100-meter viaduct where one can see fantastic views from a height of almost 20 meters.
