The huge water and entertainment complex with an area of more than 300 hectares was opened in the 60s of the 20th century on the Venetian and Dolobetskyi islands.
There are several beaches there (Children’s, Golden, Youth, Venice, for people with disabilities, and nudist ones), cafés, restaurants, clubs, water transport rental, attractions, tennis courts, playgrounds and sports grounds, including the famous Kachalka, called the toughest outdoor playground in the world.
The Hydropark also houses the Kyiv in Miniature Museum, which exhibits reduced copies of the capital’s most famous sights.
